CareerBank is a career-readiness platform connecting students, professionals, and employers to opportunities such as internships, jobs, scholarships, competitions, and events across the region. You must provide accurate information when registering and be old enough to lawfully create an online account in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Platform.
Your CareerBank account is backed by JO1N ID, a shared identity used across the JO1N ecosystem (JO1NEdu, JO1NPro, JO1Nbiz). You are responsible for:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or are used for fraud, harassment, or abuse of the Platform or other users.
CareerBank offers a self-assessment quiz that generates a personalised "Career Intelligence Report" — an archetype match, predicted skill signals, and a growth roadmap — based entirely on your quiz answers. This report is informational and educational only. It is not professional career counselling, psychological assessment, or a guarantee of academic or job placement outcomes. Treat it as a starting point for reflection, not a definitive judgment of your abilities.
If you upload a CV, academic record, verification document, or other file, you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it with us, and that it does not contain anything unlawful, infringing, or misleading. We use uploaded content solely to operate and improve the features you used it for (e.g. employer verification, resume-based matching).

Parts of the Platform rely on trusted third-party providers to function — including JO1N ID (identity & authentication), JO1N Core (career-guidance data), transactional email delivery, and cloud hosting/database providers. Your use of features tied to these providers is also subject to their own terms where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details on what's shared and why.
Job, internship, scholarship, and event listings are submitted by third parties (employers, partners, institutions). CareerBank does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, that a listing remains open, or any hiring/admission outcome. Always verify details directly with the posting organisation before relying on them.
CareerBank™, JO1N™, and associated logos, reports, and platform design are owned by CareerBank or its licensors. You may use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial career development — you may not copy, resell, or redistribute Platform content or reports without permission.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any archetype, report, or listing will lead to a specific outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerBank is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time as the Platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
